Onetcall is financed under the Public Notice “Campania Startup 2023” with the contribution of Por Campania Fesr 2014-2020. Managerial Decree no. 343 of 18/07/2024 from the Campania Region, UOD 50.10.05 “Innovative Startups and Digital Economy”, pursuant to Regulation (EU) no. 1060/2021

Onetcall is an innovative StartUp, which is aimed at airlines and shipping companies, allowing passengers to use their smartphone, with their own telephone number, without changing their user experience in any way and at an absolutely lower cost to what they currently support with other existing VoIP services.

This service is possible thanks to the availability of an international patent registered in Europe, USA and UK, for which the proposing team has an exclusive license.

OneTcall is an innovative communication system, enabled by a satellite connection, which, by appropriately combining technology and services already available on the market, allows all users in possession of smartphones and operating in an on-board area to continue using their device make and receive calls from anyone with access to the telephone network, without operational limitations or variations in the usual user experience. OneTcall optimizes satellite bandwidth consumption thanks to an exclusive codec that occupies less than 5 times the bandwidth required by other VoIP apps.

Onetcall was validated thanks to a demonstration project co-financed by ESA (European Space Agency) regarding the thematic area: Aviation, Transport & Logistics, Maritime and Aquatic.

Onetcall service is marketed in the maritime sector as a technological package that includes the supply and installation of the satellite antenna, the connectivity service (i.e. Starlink), the cabling of the on-board wi-fi network, the configuration of the firewall and accesses.
